Yokohama (横浜) is a port town just south of Tokyo with a significant history of foreign influence. It is now one of the most modern and beautiful cities in all of Japan.
Places to Stay
- Sakuragicho Washington Hotel
- The usual prices aren't exactly cheap, but you can often find special deals where you can get a room for ¥6-7000. Still not dirt cheap, but the location is great.
- Yokohama Youth Hostel Village
- It was cheapish I'd say around ¥4000 or so. It was nice and clean and within walking distance of the Chinatown area.
