The locals gather in northern Takihara and southern Takihara (at Ōmiya Junior High School) and haul a large wheeled structure carrying baskets of white stones through the neighborhoods to Takihara Grand Shrine, chanting and singing all the way. Once both groups have arrived at the shrine, everyone is given two whites stones to place inside the shrine. The last go-sengū took place on October 26, 2014.
